Preclinical Porcine Hysterectomy, Summer 2021
Dr. Ricardo Estape, a key opinion leader and prominent gynecological surgeon with vast robotic surgery experience, joined the Titan Medical team in a Research Triangle Park laboratory to conduct a preclinical porcine hysterectomy in a simulated hospital environment.
Dry Lab, Summer 2021
Titan Medical considers surgeon feedback essential as we continue refining the Enos™ single access surgical system technology.
Dr. Ricardo Estape visited Titan Medical in June, where he allowed us to record his experience with the Enos system technology, including the latest enhancements, in a dry lab environment.
Progress, Spring 2021
During the past year, Titan Medical has hired a number of engineers who have made significant progress with our Enos™ surgical system technology. Among their accomplishments, they have enhanced the kinematic engine, improved the independence of dexterous multi-articulating instruments, and coupled two independent LED light sources, one within our steerable 3D high-definition camera, and another within the insertion-tube which has an integrated 2D high-definition camera. Come see these improvements in action.
Handpieces: Extending Natural Motion
Surgeons operate with their hands, eyes, experience and instinct. We are designing handpieces to enhance, not impede natural motion, translating how surgeons sense their instruments and transform their motions into actions.
